New NEAT City | Baltimore - North

Friday, February 3, 2023

We want to welcome Susie Renninger of Baltimore - North, Maryland to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

SR :  As a long time admirer of NEAT Method, I am very excited for the opportunity to work with all of you amazing ladies and bring the NEAT brand to the Baltimore area of Maryland! I look forward to organizing our client’s homes and improving the functionality of their spaces.

NM : What did you do before NEAT?

SR : I have spent the last several years in real estate. I was a Realtor with one of the top firms in the North Shore area of Massachusetts.  Prior to that, I was a Montessori elementary teacher. Whether observing a classroom to create better flow and productivity, creating a plan to stage a home or organize a move, or coming up with organization strategies that work with my own home and family, I am always brainstorming ideas with functionality and beauty in mind.

NM : What makes your city unique?

SR : Baltimore has something for everyone! As a recent transplant, I am still exploring and learning about the area. The downtown is rich with history. It is a fun place to walk around, shop and perhaps grab a bite to eat overlooking the harbor.  I, however, spend most of my time in the suburbs. I love how the smaller city centers and close knit neighborhoods turn into vast areas of farmlands, woods and streams.

NM : How long have you lived in your city?

SR : We moved to Baltimore about a year ago and built a home up in Fallston.

NM : What are your favorite places to eat in your city?

SR : We have a bunch of local favorites, and a long list of places we still want to try!  We have a few go-to restaurants near our house like The Local, Black Eyed Suzie’s, Earth Wood & Fire, Basta Pasta.  We also love bringing the kids and dogs for visits to local breweries like Independent Brewery - our youngest son is obsessed with their hook and ring game.

NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

SR : I think my favorite part of running NEAT in Baltimore is going to be the opportunity to meet people and help bring more organization and calm to their homes.

NM : Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.

SR : My powder room closet is one of the areas I recently reorganized. I love how everything has its place while looking beautiful. The NEAT Method Oxford Bins were a game changer for storing our pool towels. They are easy to grab yet stay folded nice and neat in the bins in between use.  I also love storing my children’s medicine on the Acacia Riser.  It is so easy to see what medications we have and to stay stocked with what we may need.

NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

SR : When hiring me to organize your home, you can expect a creative professional who is going to take time to listen to you and customize a solution that will be both beautiful and functional. Whether your project is large or small, and whether you are already pretty organized or completely overwhelmed, my team and I will be excited to bring order into your home.

NM : What is your favorite organizing product?

SR : LABELS! I love labels. Any labels really, though the magnet label holders from NEAT are the stuff dreams are made of.

NM : Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?

SR : Actually.. I do have a talent for decorating cakes. Not at a professional level or anything, but my kids love to test my abilities and creativity by coming up with uniquely themed cake requests for me to make for each of their birthdays each year. Armed with a few boxes of cake mix and a bunch of fondant, I have risen to the challenges and created everything from a sea turtle cake, to a rainbow jeep cake, to a NFL cake with a mock scrimmage between Raven and Patriot players.

Okay, that sounds amazing! We definitely need to see some of these cakes. Congratulations on launching Baltimore - North. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!

xx
